Call for Applications: Centre for Interdisciplinary Archaeological Research

CIAR at Ashoka University invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the level of Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Archaeology. The Department is particularly keen to receive applications from candidates who have training and research experience in archaeological science and South Asian archaeology.

The CIAR faculty member will be attached to the Department of History and the Faculty of Science. The candidate will be expected to teach and carry out high-quality research as well as participate in the administration of the Centre. The candidate will be expected to begin teaching courses and take up other duties at the commencement of the Spring semester 2022 (January 2022), and must hold a PhD degree at the time of appointment. Ashoka University strongly encourages applications from women and other underrepresented groups in academia.
