Ashoka funds the largest scholarship programme in India’s higher education. We believe that academic excellence and inclusion are co-dependent. To discover the next breakthrough in science or solve complex social problems, we need to harness the potential of students from different backgrounds.
We are committed to making high-quality education accessible to deserving students, irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds. In the last 11 years, the University has given Rs 331 crore in financial aid to more than 3,750 students. In this academic year alone, Rs 78 crore was awarded as financial aid, to nearly half of our student body.
