Ajit Nedungadi founded and currently heads TA Associates in Europe. He is also the managing partner and chair of the investment committee. He has more than 19 years of experience in the private equity industry. Ajit’s primary focus is in the technology industry, but he has also sponsored investments across the asset management, insurance brokerage, medical device and healthcare services, and consumer/e-commerce sectors.
Prior to joining TA in 1999 in Boston, Ajit was at Trilogy Software, Investcorp International, and Credit Suisse First, Boston. He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and economics, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Yale University, and an MBA degree as a Baker Scholar from the Harvard Business School.
Aliya Nedungadi worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, before joining the management team of Saks Fifth Avenue. At Saks, she helped launch the electronic commerce business, Saks.com. After moving to London, Aliya pursued her interest in luxury retail, as the head of marketing for DeBeers Diamond Jewellers. In 2009, she started her own real estate development business.
Aliya is on the advisory council of the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies, the Princeton Centre for Global India, and the Jackson School at Yale. She is also a member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board. She holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
