Ph.D. Centre of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS), AllahabadAmrendra received his PhD in Cognitive Science from Centre of Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS), Allahabad. After completing his PhD, Amrendra was awarded a Postdoctoral Research fellowship by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Amrendra’s research focuses on studying the relationship between attention and perception. Using behavioral, psychophysics and neuroimaging (functional MRI) methodology, he is trying to study how spatial attention influences perception of time and their underlying brain mechanism. Amrendra is also interested in studying how changes in attentional processing achieved through meditation influences visual and time perception.
