Aniha was a media and communications professional for many years before moving into education. Some of the organisations she worked with include Transworld International, ESPN, and Sony Entertainment Television. She then was Executive Editor of and wrote Democratic World magazine.
Aniha was part of the team that launched the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University. She subsequently taught Academic Writing at the YIF as well. She has held the position of Director of Communications at Ashoka University, and is the current Dean of the YIF.
