Arun Kumar is founder, executive vice chairman and managing director of Strides Arcolab Ltd., a pharmaceutical company with a major focus on development and manufacture of IP-led niche finished dosage formulations.
Arun was earlier the general manager at British Pharmaceuticals Limited. He holds board positions at Ascent Pharmahealth, Strides Research & Specialty Chemicals, Quantum Life Sciences, Net Equity Ventures, Vedic Elements and Arcolab (India). Arun is a recipient of the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Healthcare sector in 2000. He has also been awarded the Business Today India Best CEO Award – Mid-Sized Companies Category and the Best CEO in the Pharma & Healthcare Industry in 2014.
