Ashok Trivedi is a seasoned entrepreneur and a visionary thinker. Over the last three decades he has been involved in recognising impactful discontinuities in the technology business landscape. He has co-founded successful technology companies such as IGATE Corporation and Mastech Digital. As the managing partner of SWAT Capital, Ashok has been an angel investor in over 50 early-stage technology and financial services businesses and takes a keen interest in PIPE and co-investments.
Ashok has been honoured with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, along with many others. He also founded the Trivedi Centre for Political Data at Ashoka. He holds a master’s degree in physics from the University of Delhi, and an MBA from Ohio University.
