Karan Bhola

Karan Bhola is a higher education, leadership development and institution building professional. He is the Director of Outreach and Admissions for the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University. He previously served as the founding President of the Ashoka University Alumni Association.

Karan has worked on several higher education initiatives with 9.9 Education. These include a project to establish India’s first university for the transportation sector (the National Rail and Transportation Institute), and projects in online and blended learning. He worked with Deutsche Bank before moving to the field of higher education.

Karan is an alumnus of Harvard University (where he pursued a master’s degree in Higher Education as a Fulbright Scholar), Ashoka University (where he was a Young India Fellow), and Loyola College (where he received an undergraduate degree in Economics).

Karan bears a lifelong commitment towards contributing to higher education transformation in India and is fascinated by the power of collaboration.
