Lalit Contractor

Lalit Contractor obtained a Ph.D. in economics from Johns Hopkins University in July 2021. He also holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics degree from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and a MPhil degree in Economics from the University of Oxford.

His research is focused on the study of macroprudential policy with an emphasis on housing and labour markets; and heterogeneous agent macroeconomic models applied to monetary policy and the spatial economy.
