Nishant Chadha is an economist with a PhD in economics from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelors in Technology from IIT Kanpur. He is currently a Fellow and Head – Projects at the India Development Foundation. In this capacity, he lead various impact evaluations and other quantitative studies.
His current research interests are in the broad area of human capital acquisition and include both school and higher education as well as skilling and entrepreneurship.
He is also very interested in exploring the relationship between technology and economic growth and the impact of technology on the Indian labour market, both presently and in the future.
