Pramod Bhasin’s career spans a global professional and entrepreneurial journey in financial services, IT, and business process management. He is the founder of Genpact – the global leader in business process management, and was the president and CEO of Genpact till 2011. He is considered a pioneer of the BPM industry in India.
Prior to Genpact, his career with General Electric (GE) spanned 25 years across the UK, USA, and Asia. He subsequently became the head of GE Capital in India and Asia, having earlier worked with GE Capital’s corporate finance group in Stamford, CT, USA. Currently, Pramod is the chairman of Clix Capital, a financial services business in India focused on providing digital platforms and financial services to consumers and small businesses across India.
Pramod is a co-founder of Asha Impact, a virtual fund focused on social impact investments. He has also co-founded the Skills Academy that focuses on providing vocational skills training to lower income youth in villages across the country. He is a strategic advisor to Kedaara, a leading private equity firm in India.
Pramod serves on the board of DLF Ltd and Global Knowledge Training LLC. He is also on the governing Board of ICRIER, Help Age India, and Vishwas. He has been the chairman of NASSCOM and TiE NCR, and was voted the ‘IT Man of the Year’. A chartered accountant, Pramod holds a BCom from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
