Ravi Modi is the founder and managing director of Vedant Fashions Private Limited, a brand that has become synonymous with celebration wear. He started his journey at the tender age of 13, learning by doing at his father’s store back in 1990. At 22, he moved forward to create his own path and founded Manyavar.
Ravi entered the men’s ethnic wear market and reinforced its value for millions of Indians. He spearheads a one million square feet facility, with a retail presence that spans over 650 stores across India, USA, UAE, and Canada. In 2015, he also founded Mohey, celebration wear for women. In 2017, he acquired one of southern India’s biggest fashion brands Mebaz, and has recently launched a premium label Twamev. Ravi has been felicitated across corporate India, global fashion, and media for giving birth to Manyavar and growing it to a one-stop destination for celebration wear.
Manas Foundation, a social enterprise for heart treatments, is growing securely under Ravi’s care, having completed over 500 heart surgeries with his support. He promotes preventive health care, heart and cancer patient operations in association with Narayana Hrudalaya and Meridian Medical Research & Hospital.
