Sat Pal Khattar is an Indian-born, Singapore-based lawyer and business man. He is the founder of Khattar Wong LLP, one of the largest law firms in Singapore. He is also the chairman of Khattar Holdings, a private investment firm. Sat Pal has been the chairman of the Singapore Business Federation, and co-chairman of the Singapore-India Partnership Foundation.
Sat Pal is a life trustee of the Singapore India Development Association, an NGO working for the development of the financially poor members of the Indian community. He is also the vice president of the Singaporean Indian Education Trust. He was the first Singaporean to be awarded the Padma Shri in 2011. Sat Pal has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Singapore.
