Yukti works as a Senior Manager, Academic Communications at the Research and Development Office. Her work involves liaising between the Research Office, Business Office, and Outreach Office to promote teaching and research across all disciplines at Ashoka, develop communication strategies and concept notes to build new partnerships and raise funds.
Her keen interest in science communication and facilitation got her associated with DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance in 2019. As a Communications and Public Engagement Officer, Yukti managed and organized India Alliance’s capacity building and training workshops and assisted in developing new programmes and partnerships that empowered India Alliance to strengthen the Indian biomedical research ecosystem. Her doctoral training is in the field of Materials Chemistry from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, where she has extensively worked on novel battery/capacitor materials. Her work has been published in various reputed journals, including Scientific Reports, Langmuir and others. She has been awarded a gold medal in her Master’s degree with specialization in Organic Chemistry from the University of Delhi, India.
