Ph.D. University of ChicagoMartin Lin is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University and was formerly an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and a Visiting Professor at the University of Michigan and Ashoka University. He was educated at NYU (BA) and the University of Chicago (PhD). His research focuses on metaphysics and philosophy of mind in the seventeenth century and he is the author of Being and Reason: an essay on Spinoza’s metaphysics (Oxford University Press: forthcoming).
