A feminist and a dancer, Ridhi Aggarwal is a free spirit and has an inquisitive mind. She has a fire in her belly – a desire, a thirst, to attain enough learning, and reach a point from where she’s able to interpret the world not how it’s shown to her, but how she actually sees from her own eyes.
Born and brought up in Delhi, Ridhi seldom shies away from challenges, and is a true advocate of freedom of speech and expression. After spending the first quarter of her life in a girl’s school, and a rather patriarchal, conservative family, she is a devout feminist, shutting down sexism and promulgating feminism as an indispensable part of life. With good grades and a predilection towards mathematics and economics, she completed her graduation at ease while simultaneously pursuing her passion for dance. Ridhi participated in various dance competitions during her college years as well as acquired a Kathak graduation degree from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. A little known fact about her is that she is also a black stripe holder in taekwondo.
Having faced abuse and discrimination in life herself, she is a resilient being and always promotes conversations about unvoiced issues, so as to develop cognisance amongst other people. A daring, cheerful and an eccentric person, she dreams of taking the feminist movement to it’s destination by vigorously propagating it’s importance and it’s inevitability in everyone’s lives.
She is an avid reader and never at a loss of adventure in life.
