Summer Term for Ashoka Student

The Office of Summer Programmes offers an intensive six-week study programme, held online this year, during the summer for undergraduate students. A range of four-credit courses is offered across disciplines. Enrolling for the summer term provides an opportunity for Ashoka students to take courses that helps to gain additional credits, accelerate in their academic pathway or simply explore other areas of interest. In order to maximize the benefit of the summer term, all students are encouraged to seek academic advising before registering for courses. The summer term also provides the opportunity to study with students from international institutions giving them experience in global learning in a virtual setting.

Information for Ashoka Students
Summer Dates: July 5 to August 13, 2021
Eligibility: The summer semester is open to the following students who are encouraged to apply:
- Students from Ashoka University
- Students from Colleges and Universities in India – (VISP)
- Students from Colleges and Universities abroad – (VSP)
- Students from Ashoka partner institutions (Custom programmes)
- Classes will be held from Monday to Friday; each class will run for 2 hours starting from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Students from Colleges and Universities in India

Ashoka University welcomes undergraduate students from other colleges and universities in India to experience the university’s unique academic offerings through the Visiting Indian Students Programme. The Visiting Indian Students Programme is specifically designed to foster exchange of ideas between undergraduate students from across educational institutions and those at Ashoka. In keeping with this ethos and despite the restrictions on physical mobility on account of COVID-19; this purpose will be fulfilled, this year, by conducting all course online.
