From the desk of the Vice-Chancellor
“With Spring Semester around the corner, we are looking forward to the New Year with the hope that it brings peace, good health and joy for all of us. We are hoping also for a gradual transition to a campus filled with students and in-person teaching in classrooms. Although a “post-COVID world” is still not in sight, let us hope that 2022 will bring significant scientific advancements to bring life closer to the way things were.
Meanwhile, I would like to share with you news about our new North Campus and some significant initiatives at Ashoka in the last few months. Also, as a young university founded in 2014, Ashoka participated in university rankings for the first time this year and we are happy with our performance in NIRF and QS-Asia rankings. At the heart of our South Campus is our new Library Building, just completed, housing a rich collection of books and journals, special collections, rare books and the Ashoka Archives.”
